Cornwall: rocks and reflections

I live within a few miles of the North Cornwall coast and enjoy visiting its spectactular cliffs and rocky beaches.
“The Strangles” is a beach beneath high cliffs that is rather difficult to get to but well worth the effort.

  1. I agree with Lynsey – love that pic. And the other photos have an ‘other worldliness’ to them as well, must be a beautiful place (albeit with a not-so-pretty name)! 🙂

  2. Thanks to both of you for your comments. I have always found rock pools to be very special and, if you have the patience to stay still and watch, there really is another world inside!
Apparently the name Strangles derives from the treacherous currents and submerged rocks that have caused many shipwrecks.
